Zyvox is medicine for treatment blood, skin and lungs bacterial infections. It is an antibiotic. It is bloking proteins production necessary to bacteria’s growth. But it will not work for flue or colds.
Before you start to use it, inform your doctor if you have:
• untreated thyroid disease
• high blood pressure
• cancer
• heart disease
• kidney disease
• pheochromocytoma
• phenylketonuria
• an allergic reaction to Zyvox
• breast-feeding
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
You should take this tablet with water. Take it on empty stomach or with food. You should keep regular intervals between doses. Do not stop taking Zyvox suddenly because side effects are possible. Consult with your doctor first.
Do not overtake this pill. If you think that you have taken too much, call emergency room at once. If you are going to use it on children, consult with your doctor first. Do not give this medicine to anybody else.
If you forget your regular dose, try to take it as soon as possible. But do not double doses and do not take extra doses.
Zyvox interacts with next drugs:
• green tea
• furazolidone
• MAOIs
• tryptophan
• procarbazine
Additionally it can interacts with:
• diet pills
• drugs for allergies
• drugs for blood pressure
• drugs for depression
• St. Johns wort
Provide your doctor with information if you use illegal drugs, drink alcohol or smoke. It will help your doctor to check if it can interact with Zyvox. Tell your doctor about all nutritional supplements, non-prescription drugs and dietary supplements. Consult with your doctor if you are going to stop or to start taking these pills.
If your symptoms are not getting better within three days, you should consult with your doctor.
You should not treat diarrhea with products without prescription. Consult with your doctor if you cannot stop it after two days.
Possible you will need some diet during Zyvox course. You cannot take aged chessses, processed meats, soy sauce, red wines, beer and other products. Consult with your doctor.

• fever
• tremor, trouble walking
• irregular heart beat
• unusually tired
• seizures
• unusual bleeding

• vaginal irritation
• nausea
• headache
• stomach upset
Keep your children out of the reach of this medicine. Keep Zyvox between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) tightly closed. Do not use it after the expiration date after 21 days. Keep from light.
