Lamisil is antibiotic for fungal problems. It is for treatment fungal infections which concerns toenails and fingernails.
Inform your doctor if you have any of these circumstances:
• an allergic reaction to lamisil
• drink alcohol
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• kidney disease
• breast-feeding
• liver disease
You should take this medicine with water and keep regular intervals between doses. Do not over take it. If you think that you have overtaken it, call your emergency room immediately.
If you are going to use it on your child, consult with children doctor first. If you forget your regular dose, try to take it as soon as possible, but do not double doses.
Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine because it can be not safe. Advice with your doctor first about how stop taking this tablet. Do not take Lamisil more than prescribed.
Thioridazine cannot be taken with Lamisil. Do not take both medicines at the same time.
Additionally Lamisil can interact with
• rifampin
• beta-blockers
• drugs for depression
• drugs for irregular heartbeat
• caffeine
• cimetidine
• drugs for fungal infections
• warfarin
Tell your doctor if you use illegal drugs, drink alcohol or smoke. It will help your doctor to check if it can interact with Lamisil. Tell your doctor about all nutritional supplements, non-prescription drugs and dietary supplements. Consult with your doctor if you are going to stop or to start taking these pills.
You should keep in touch with your doctor. If you have any side effects such as yellow skin, light stools or nausea, contact with your doctor immediately. Some infections could require several months for treatment.

• right upper belly pain
• dark urine
• yellowing of the eyes
• allergic reactions
• general ill feeling
• changes in vision
• loss of appetite
• fever
• unusually weak
• light-colored stools
• redness of the skin
Possible side effects which do not require medical care:
• stomach upset
• changes in taste
• stomach gas
• hair loss
• diarrhea
• muscle pain
Keep your children out of the reach of this medicine. Keep Lamisil below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) tightly closed. Do not use it after the expiration date.
